Tom Ward has more than 30 years experience in the lighting industry including 17 years with Finelite and 18 years with Penn Lighting in Philadelphia where he was an Associate Principal. Mr. Ward has participated with the New York City School Construction Authority to develop best practices for relighting existing city classrooms and with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to demonstrate a template for classroom lighting that is affordable, flexible, and consistent with LEED for Schools and CHPS-NY. Mr. Ward has presented hundreds of seminars on lighting and energy efficiency, LED technology, and lighting for the aging eye, and has developed several AIA-accredited courses. Mr. Ward strives to help customers light effectively and comfortably using sustainable practices.
